Therapist Consultant for Trauma-Informed Clinicians
Where thoughtful therapists find their way forward.
This is a space for trauma-informed therapists and therapy leaders—clinicians deepening their clinical integration, supervisors growing their capacity to guide others, and group practice owners building something that sustains them.
You hold complexity for others every day. What you’re looking for now isn’t more information—it’s a steadier way to do this work at the level you’re operating at. The learning experiences here are designed for people who are already experienced and who are ready to go further.

Meet Your Therapist Consultant
Michelle Richardson | LCSW
I’m a therapist, trainer, and facilitator who works at the intersection of clinical depth, leadership, and real-world practice ownership. Over the past decade, I’ve founded and led two mental health organizations — Mindful Soul Center for Wellbeing, an EMDR-focused group practice, and Syzygy Institute, a national training organization for IFS-informed EMDR.
Both were built with a shared intention: to create learning communities, not just services. Places where therapists can grow over time, learn alongside one another, and feel supported as their clinical skills, confidence, and Self-leadership evolve.
I’ve taught and mentored therapists across stages of development, from clinical licensure to EMDR and IFS-informed EMDR certification, to advanced supervision and leadership roles. I also contributed a chapter on Discovery and blended protectors to IFS-Informed EMDR: Creative and Collaborative Approaches (Routledge, 2025), reflecting the clinical and experiential focus of my teaching.
Across all of my work, my role is consistent: to host and facilitate spaces where people can learn, practice, and lead without having to do it alone. Whether I’m working with therapists or practice owners, the focus is on steadiness, connection, and growth held within community.

Clarity is the lantern. Let’s find your next step.
How to know if this work is right for you
This work may be a good fit if you’re a therapist or clinical supervisor who:
Is trained in EMDR, IFS, or both and wants deeper, more integrated clinical work
Values experiential learning over passive consumption of information
Is willing to step into learning spaces where you don’t have to be the expert
Wants consultation and support that includes your parts and your nervous system, not just technique
or
a group practice owner, clinical supervisor, or therapy leader who:
Is carrying the complexity of leadership and wants clearer systems and decision-making
Values practical frameworks and reflective depth
Is curious about how IFS concepts like Self-leadership show up in practice ownership
Wants leadership support that honors both responsibility and humanity
As a whole, this work resonates most with people who value depth over speed, community over isolation, and learning that actually changes how they think and lead — not just what they know. If you’re looking for a formula or a quick fix, this probably isn’t the right space. If you’re ready for a high-level learning experience with others who take this work seriously — you’re in the right place.
Reflect. Align. Lead.
You don’t have to carry the complexity of this work alone.
